A watercolour portrait today : )

She's an original character, and I was studying how to use limited colour palette for this piece. I set aside hues of browns, yellows, and oranges for the girl, and worked with these set of colours only. It is a good practice to learn how to create values with limited palette, I think. I'm still a novice at it, obviously! But, it was quite a fun exercise : D

The girl herself is not a main heroine or a major OC of mine. She's a side character, a friend type, one that can be a little sharp at times, but still, a good friend when times are rough.

I sometimes think the side characters can be a lot more interesting than the main ones? XD Do you know what I mean?
