Cyanea lamarckii

This year I’m participating in the mermay challenge~ It’s my first year of doing so, I’m not sure if I can draw only one topic for the entire month, every day of the month, but whatever, let’s give it a go :D

I’m doing mine as a series of Jellyfish Princesses, which was something that I had started inadvertently on my own last year or so. They are just like mermaids, but instead of legs as fishie parts, it’s their heads. Parts of their heads are jellyfishies... lol

This is the first one that I did, she’s based off the species called Cyanea Lamarckii, and they are pretty neat looking (look 'em up) !

I am using their general shapes as inspiration for the designs of the princesses :) Hope you’ll stay tune to see if I can beat Mermay 2020~ !
